Thank you to whoever updated the "Subtyping and Variance" section of the Rustonomicon.
It is so much easier to understand now!
As someone who doesn't have a strong background in typed OOP languages where variance is a relevant topic, the first time I went through the Rustonomicon's "Subtyping and Variance" just really confused the heck out of me—particular with its examples that used a pseudo-Rust language where you can achieve sub-typing using traits.
After taking some months off of Rust to focus on work, I finally decided to revisit variance and subtyping (or sub-timing as some folks call it on this sub) to try and grok it and I was surprised to see that the section of the Rustonomicon had been updated. It's clear as crystal, and what I couldn't grok in 5+ reads before now made sense in one. Thank you!
