How do I free up a crate name back to the wild?

I know you can't unpublished a crates. However, I foolishly hoged a crate name after seeing someone doing the same with the name I originally planned on, only to regret it later. The crate is practically empty, and the only version is yanked... Can I mark it in any way as available to change ownership?
