Is there really no way of storing a string literal in some identifier to concatenate it to some other literal?
I basically want to do this...
concat!("this is a very long string which I don't want to type 100 times", "hi");
concat!("this is a very long string which I don't want to type 100 times", "you");
concat!("this is a very long string which I don't want to type 100 times", "there");
... repeat a bunch
...but obviously for readability I'd much rather have something like this
const BIG_STRING: &str = "this is a very long... you get the point"
concat!(BIG_STRING, "hi");
concat!(BIG_STRING, "you");
...
But seemingly there's no way to do this at compile time? I have to use format! ??
Am I being stupid?
