Why I would recommend a low level language for beginners
As a Python programmer, I've come to appreciate the simplicity and readability of the language, especially for beginners.
Ive been using python for quite a while. I decided to learn another language, and rust was quite popular so i decided to chose it.
Now after working through it a bit I have come to the conclusion, that though python and javascript like languages maybe easy to learn, i would not recommend them for beginners.
Using Rust was a headache firstly, due to how oversimplified are things in python. But gradually I began to learn good practises that i never did in python.
Plus Javascipt and python have really wierd things that could be considered bad practises
For example, how it is not necessary to put everything in a function, how you can declare globals with no consequences, (and it is automatically done in js) among other things.
Tldr; Python and javascript are good languages, but chose c/cpp/rust/java if you are starting out
Edit: After reading through the comments, I realised I forgot to mention that python is a good scripting language that you can use in your daily life and career.
