What you built that made you love rust?

Hi all, hope all is well. I’m new to rust and I’m thinking what can I build in rust to learn it and also, appreciate it better. Like, I’m currently learning how to write a ray tracer in cpp and also, trying to build the same in rust and even though I’m just starting, I starting to feel that this is hard to start with. Can you please give me ideas on what I can build in some language I already know (python, c, cpp, clojure, js) and also, build the same in Rust and see how and why rust is better here. This way I want to appreciate it better. I know Rust is memory safe, cargo is king and all, but want to see it practically. Waiting for that aha moment.

Thank you all.
