multicalc: no-std multivariable calculus v0.4.0 is out!
Hi everyone,
multicalc is a crate designed for scientific computing for single and multi-variable calculus
Salient Features
- Written in pure, safe rust
- no-std with zero heap allocations and no panics
- Trait-based generic implementation to support floating point and complex numbers
- Fully documented with code examples
- Comprehensive suite of tests for full code coverage, including all possible error conditions
- Supports linear, polynomial, trigonometric, exponential, and any complex equation you can throw at it, of any number of variables!
Thank you to everyone who gave me feedback last time. Version 0.4.0 has these changes:
- Crate is finally completely no-std.
- Moved some error checks to compile time.
- Added default functions to all modules, known to never cause any error, for users who just want the solution and don't care about the computational parameters.
- Added "custom" functions for more advanced users who still want to tweak the computation parameters.
- Updated documentation and examples.
I love to hear your feedback. Are there any features you would like to be added? What do you think of the overall API?
