Why is the Rust Job Market Rusty for Juniors?! 🤔

I've been on the hunt for a job for a while now, with a decent 2 years of experience. My goal? To land a Rust-centric position. But every job posting I stumble upon seems to have one of two requirements: "3+ years of Rust experience" or "Senior Developer only with like 7+ yoe."

What's the deal with that? What's wrong with hiring someone who has a strong intent to learn, already knows the basics, and is at an intermediate level?

How is anyone supposed to get 3+ years of experience if they can't get a job in the first place? I'd love some insights on how the industry is working, and the best places to find Rust jobs (because LinkedIn is driving me nuts).
