My Day at RustConf

I'm going to sleep right after posting this after an equal parts exhausting and insightful day.

So, as part of a worldwide social experiment, scientists found a flawless indicator of introversion (programming in Rust) and placed all of these nerds in the same room. The result is... actually very enlightening.

The talks showed me how much thought was placed in the tools I already take for granted, like rustfmt. It showed me new toys to play with (cargo-mutants and rkyv), and made me meet amazing people I only ever knew from pixelated profile pictures.

For those who were too busy being whipped by their project manager at work, glued to their college courses or who simply didn't have the means to travel to another country, I am presenting a glimpse of what I learned today.
