Oh god, the horror that is switching from Rust back to another language...

Apparently I've been writing in Rust longer than I realized. Ended up cracking open some of both, Python and PHP code, and it's such a weird feeling. It also made me appreciate just how amazing of a language Rust is, and how much consideration and forethought the core dev team put into the ergonomics of the language.

Takes a bit of adjustment time to get your head wrapped around Rust, but once your brain has been sufficiently "Rustified", it ends up becoming such a common sense language, and once sufficiently comfortable, you find yourself hammering out 200 line blocks of code that would have taken over 2000 lines before in other languages.

Then you have to flip over to say PHP or Python for a bit, and find yourself in amazement remembering things like, "oh wow, right, you can just do this or that, or essentially just puke code all over the IDE in whatever fashion it comes out and it will be fine, right... forgot about that".
