Is cranelift better than LLVM?

Currently I'm building a compiler with inkwell (LLVM wrapper).
I have 4 int types (int8, int16, int32, int64), string and boolean type, user defining functions, print (printfn) and concat (strcat) built in functions.
I'm thinking about switching from LLVM to cranelift because it is written in Rust and requires no external dependencies for building (for gh actions script).
So the question is: "Is cranelift better than LLVM for compiler in Rust?"

EDIT: Okay I've read your comments and realized that I prefer binary size and LLVM optimizations. Rewriting whole module under cranelift backend only for compile time optimizations (and etc.) isn't my way
