Status of the Rust ABI and What Is Going to Change When It's Stabilized
Hey all, I just wanted to ask two questions.
First, what is the current state of the Stable Rust ABI? The questions and debates about this topic are old enough to be asked again IMO.
The second question, which has not been asked much, is more important from my perspective. Are the gains from the Rust stable ABI just dreams? The main benefit of the ABI that people say is, that a stable ABI will reduce the compilation time of the language a lot, what do you think about it?
Lastly, the reason I'm asking this question is, I think Rust deserves a better compilation time! I just want ideas on how the ABI will change, or will it change, the current state of the Rust language.
