TentHash specification declared final

Back in October I announced TentHash, a non-cryptographic 160-bit hash function with hash quality as a top priority, and secondary goals of being portable, easy to implement, and reasonably (not blazing) fast.

I'm announcing today that TentHash's specification is now final. Specifically, no further changes to the spec are permitted that alter hash output. In other words, the hash function is now frozen, and its output can now be persisted without fear of it changing in the future.

This has been a long time coming, because although most of the work on TentHash has happened within the last 3 years or so, I've actually been working on it off-and-on in some form or another for the better part of a decade. It serves a niche that was never properly filled during that time, and it's very satisfying to finally have it done. So I thought it would be fun to usher in the new year with this announcement.

(Note regarding relevance to this subreddit: TentHash is not Rust-specific, but its main implementation is in Rust and most of the supplementary code that accompanies its specification is in Rust.)
