I find it ironic how the two most prominent demographics of rustacean are finance crypto bros looking to learn the language purely for the job opportunities, and devoted & passionate computer science nerds who love to write code & design algorithms
i suppose it speaks both to rust's design goals as a language that's both robust, fast, and safe, while also being appealing and satisfying to write
