Why I learned Rust as a first language

That seems to be rarer than I think it could, as Rust has some very good arguments to choose it as a first programming language.
I am curious about the experiences of other Zoeas out there, whether positive or not.

TLDR: Choosing rust was the result of an intentional choice on my part, and I do not regret it. It is a harsh but excellent tutor that has provided me with much better foundations than, I think, I would have otherwise.
