I just spent two days of my weekend doing a write-up and it got removed as "not written by a human"

So one of the moderators just closed my other post https://www.reddit.com/r/rust/comments/1wrg5wq/polyxor128_a_new_fast_universal_hash_written_in/ with the message that it should have been written by a human.

I literally just spend the past two days polishing my benchmarks, getting my thoughts together about the design process, elaborating about gotcha's and writing it all up in a nice README plus a more in-depth design document for those who want to dig into the details. This isn't the first time I've done this, e.g. https://github.com/orlp/polymur-hash and https://github.com/orlp/foldhash have similar detailed README's.

All of it was written by me, so that other people could read it. I was excited to share and hoped to find like-minded people to discuss it with.

And then another person, in a position of power, unilaterally marked it as machine-generated and tossed it in the bin. I can't even publicly reply saying that I'm a fucking human. I feel dehumanized and silenced.

This isn't just a post to get my other post reinstated. I'd like to open the discussion on this form of moderation in general. The Rust code of conduct says we must be kind and courteous. I don't feel baselessly accusing someone's writing as being AI-generated without even any opportunity to defend yourself fits that requirement.
